"Why?"

"Because it's cooler that way!"

"Would it be uncool if I didn't close my eyes?"  MOMO would have readily complied with the request, but teasing Jr. was so much more fun.  "Okay, okay.  Closing my eyes now."

Jr. took her hand and pushed the button.  The doors hummed open, and a draft of warm air billowed inside.  MOMO inhaled an earthy aroma.  It tasted organic, so different from the sterile atmosphere of spaceships.  A dewy mugginess hung low in the air, but it felt pleasant, not stifling.  MOMO heard the shrill birdc
J-Jezebel: Margulis x Pellegri  Slicing through the sirloin steak, Margulis was pleased to find the center oozing pink blood.  He chewed his dinner slowly, savoring the tangy, metallic amalgam of rum sauce and rare meat.

Pellegri didn't touch her food.

"Still thinking about Ariadne?" he jibed.

"So what if I am?"  Pellegri pushed aside her plate and made for the wine glass.  "So what if I actually care about people?  What does that matter to a cold-hearted brute like you?"

TalysMana.com Be A Character In TalysMana Contest Entry

My camera is a little weird. Anyway, I forget what the type is called, but it's where you start with a square piece of paper, cut out shapes, and flip them mirror image over the square's linear axes. I ask a lot of people what this looks like: underwater fish with seaweed growing out of it, a freaky tree face, a strange talisman, a butterfly, a beetle on a supercool leaf, etc.

What do you think?
